Joe Carlon is the President of Desert Spine and Sports Physicians, a leading non-surgical spine and musculoskeletal care provider headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. He assumed this role in June 2023, bringing with him over two decades of leadership experience in healthcare operations, business development, and strategic growth across multiple medical specialties.

Before joining Desert Spine and Sports, Carlon held executive leadership positions as Chief Executive Officer at Elevate Women’s Health and The Women’s Health Group. His prior experience includes a tenure as CEO at Pain Doctor, Inc., and Arizona Pain Specialists, as well as a Territory Manager role at St. Jude Medical. Carlon began his career in sales with Merck.

In April 2020, Carlon founded Turn 2 Health Ventures, a healthcare advisory and investment firm.

Carlon holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

At Desert Spine and Sports Physicians, Carlon leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering patient-centered, non-surgical treatments for spine, sports, and musculoskeletal conditions. The organization emphasizes innovative therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and fluoroscopically guided spine injections, aiming to restore function and improve quality of life for patients across Arizona.
